History
Caubel is a beautifully restored "maison de maître". It was originally the main house of Saint Pierre de Caubel. Over the years, the house was converted into a farm and later inhabited as private home.
The large dovecote with a passageway gives the domain its unique character and the spacious lean-to shed is a lovely storage space for bicycles, equipment, etc.
All the buildings were constructed more than 200 years ago with exposed stonework ("pierres apparentes").
The ground floor includes a kitchen, dining room, salon and two rooms. A wooden staircase brings you to the loft, which has three rooms. The house has five rooms in total.
The loft is also used as a relaxation space. It includes a billiard table and sitting area with a well-stocked library. The garden has a new heated swimming pool. You can relax under the lime trees or play a round of petanque. There is also a playhouse for the little ones. Tall plane trees shade the patio on sun-drenched days.
